Helping a green building leader expand into the Emirates market

FAC LEEDership, a leading player in LEED-certified sustainable construction in China and Hong Kong, wanted to position itself strategically in a new market: the United Arab Emirates. Against a background of accelerating energy transition in the Middle East, the company wanted to understand the most relevant ways in and to adapt its positioning to a very specific local reality. Our engagement was strategic consulting centred on analysing the Emirates market, identifying concrete opportunities, defining a differentiating position, and structuring an operational action plan to begin this expansion in step with the territory's environmental, social and governance ambitions.

A structured expansion plan aligned with the Emirates' sustainability goals

Through close research on the Emirates' green building policies (Abu Dhabi Vision 2030, Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050), interviews with local players, and a comparative analysis of LEED against Estidama and Al Sa'fat, we built a three-phase entry plan with FAC LEEDership: establishing institutional partnerships, appearing at key sector events, and adapting the offering to local regulation. The result: a clear roadmap for the next 18 months, first contacts established with Emirati developers and consultants, and a content strategy designed to strengthen the brand's credibility in a market undergoing environmental transition.
