The scope where Adalo is the right choice

An internal tool for a few dozen people. A directory, a request tracker, a sign-up application. Needs where simplicity comes before performance and where budget is a real criterion.

Where it stops

Sooner than the others. As soon as the number of users climbs, the screens multiply or the business rules get complicated, performance and maintainability degrade markedly. That is not a hidden flaw, it is the tool’s positioning.

Why we propose it anyway

Because the question is not to build the best possible tool, but the one that serves within the available budget. A charity that needs to track volunteers does not need a bespoke development, and we will not sell it one.

What we will tell you straight

If your project is meant to grow, start elsewhere. Migrating away from Adalo means rebuilding, and doing it in a year will cost more than starting on the right tool today. We would rather lose the project than put you in that situation.

What you keep

Your data, exportable. And knowledge of the need, which is the longest part to establish. A first version that served for six months teaches you what three framing meetings would not have revealed.
