How we choose a tool.
We decide on two simple rules. The right tool for the project, not the tool we would rather sell. And a tool we master well enough to make you independent on it. Your ability to take control in house counts as much as the raw power of the solution. The maturity of the community, the total cost over three years, the licence and the maintenance all matter. If it does not fit the existing stack, or if the cost of leaving is a problem, we change. We catalogue every solution with its use case so that we never start from a preconception, but from the real context of your project.
