That is the difference that makes AI usable in a practice. A consumer conversational model answers confidently about an article of the commercial code that it reconstructs from memory. In a profession where the answer engages the professional’s liability, that is unusable.
CoBIos works on the opposite principle: it searches a maintained French legal and accounting reference base, then answers on the basis of the texts it has found, with the source. When the answer is not in the reference base, it says so.
The product came out of a real need expressed by a commercial court registry, and was developed with them. Today it is aimed at accounting practices of under twenty-five staff, those for whom research time weighs heaviest.
