Introduction

Facilitating the expansion of a green building leader to the Emirates market

FAC LeederShip, a key player in LEED certified sustainable construction in China and Hong Kong, wanted to position itself strategically on a new market: the United Arab Emirates. In a context of accelerated energy transition in the Middle East, the company sought to understand the most relevant entry levers and to adapt its positioning to a very specific local reality. Our mission is to conduct strategic advice focused on the analysis of the Emirates market, the identification of concrete opportunities, the definition of a differentiating positioning, as well as the structuring of an operational action plan to initiate this expansion in line with the territory's ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) ambitions.

An expansion plan structured and aligned with the sustainable goals of the Emirates

Thanks to in-depth monitoring of the Emirates' green construction policies (Abu Dhabi Vision 2030, Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050), interviews with local actors, and a comparative analysis of LEED vs Estidama and Al Sa'FAT standards, we co-built with FAC LeederShip an entry plan in 3 phases: establishment of institutional partnerships, presence through key sectoral events, and adaptation of offers to local regulations. The result: a clear roadmap for the next 18 months, initial contacts established with Emirati developers and consultants, and a content strategy designed to strengthen the credibility of the brand in a market in full environmental transition.
